This work is an exploration of the fragility of time through the documentation of my personal human experience, routines and spaces. This work is a modern day meditation that explores what the everyday person focuses their attention on. My aim is for viewers to meditate on how fragile time is.
Sound is a very important element in the video. All the sounds used were created, combined and distorted to tell a story. These sounds include doors opening, light switches, footsteps, breathing, walking, water droplets, etc. Also, in terms of the process, every block I produce a new part to add to the video. This work was shot in real time throughout the year, which I believe makes the work as true to my human experience as possible.
