Inches
In this work, I have used the micro-evolution of male penis-size-anxiety as a basis for my predictions of how the future society will be.This work is inspired by neo-societal idealism and the new found value put into the measurement, "inches".
With the increased hype regarding the inches of hair extensions and penis sizes, I hypothesise that in the future, competition amongst individuals will continue to increase (regarding their physical characteristics). However, the introduction of new technology, designer babies and varying liberties will cause most individuals to look physically ideal. This decline in physical diversity will ultimately cause us to all be "ideal-looking" beings.
The subjects of this work are hyper-ideal iconic figures. These figures represent what a family would look like in the future. They are grossly ideal versions of themselves, covered in rhinestones and long lengths of jewels.
In this work, I aim to question viewers about the toxicity of idealism that comes with an increase in technology, knowledge and freedom.
